It was Katheen who looked through the phone books and found Geoff Isaac, another third cousin of Thomas Erfyl's and Carolyn's, living in Manchester. She and Thomas had met him last fall for the first time, and after we arrived she gave us his number.

We met Geoff and his wife, Carol, in Chester, half way between us, and really enjoyed visiting with them and exploring that beautiful city. They took us on a bus and boat ride, to lunch and then on a beautiful walk along the top of the ancient wall that surrounds some of the city.

As some of our family members know, in the 1920s, a relative named Clarence B. Isaac wrote to as many family members as he could find, and put together a booklet with quite an extensive collection of information about the children and descendants of John Isaac & Jane Lloyd. He sent those booklets out to many family members at the time. There is a copy in our American family line, and we have met a couple other cousins who have copies. Geoff Isaac showed us his original copy of the booklet, too - the first original one we've seen - it's amazing how it's gotten around, and been handed down.
