Preamble

On the 4th of July 1996 Lois and I declared our own Independance Day, quit our jobs, sold our house and furniture, and moved our remaining belongings to our hangar in Friday Harbor. We were ready to go CRUISING! But, the escrow on the house just wouldn't close; so, we poked around the San Juans for the best part of the summer, anxiously waiting for the go-ahead. It finally came on the 19th of September and we were out of there the next day.

1730 DOCKED AT BLIND CHANNEL - PRETTY STRONG SET TO SOUTH AT THE DOCK - ALMOST FOOLED ME BUT DETECTED IT SOON ENOUGH TO CORRECT - CRAB FOR DINNER - MMM GOOD!
